The Senior Utilities Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accurate utility consumption tracking, billing validation, and cost recovery across the property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse utility consumption, costs, and billing to ensure accurate allocation and recovery across tenants.
  • Validate municipal and tenant invoices in line with approved billing methodologies and recovery ratios.
  • Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track utility performance and identify anomalies.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing cost management for utilities across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with tenants, municipalities, service providers, and internal teams to resolve utility-related queries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, technology solutions, and energy efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in utilities management within the energy services or property management sector.
  • Experience working in multi-tenanted property environments.
  • Exposure to portfolio-level utility reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • BCom Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
