Our client, a leading financial services group, is looking for a dynamic Wealth Specialist to join their team. The core purpose of this role is to provide premier investment support and implement the wealth management value proposition and solutions for their financial planning distribution channel and Financial Advisers. This role is integral in aligning practices with the company”s internal house-views and enhancing a philosophy centered on financial wellness and client centricity . You will operate as a true practice partner, delivering the full wealth management value chain to drive adviser and client growth . Key Responsibilities: Implement the Wealth Management value proposition across all financial planning practices and adviser segments. Drive the adoption of the company”s investment philosophy and internal House view fund list to empower advisers to articulate value to clients. Manage strategic partnerships with internal investment, trust, and securities divisions to support franchises with the full wealth offering. Drive strategies to increase assets under management/advice for the channel. Execute on Wealth strategic initiatives to drive business growth and identify emerging trends in financial technology. Facilitate the investment advice process with financial advisers to drive adoption of financial planning tools and investment proposals. Provide expert guidance on retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and other aspects of comprehensive financial planning. Educate financial advisers on investment strategies, market trends, and financial planning concepts, facilitating investment workshops. Build and retain funds under management by migrating existing assets to focus solutions. Requirements: Education & Licensing: Degree in investments or a completed qualification related to financial planning (min 120 credits NQF6) (Essential). Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation (Preferred). Hold both RE1 and RE5 regulatory examinations (Essential). Experience & Knowledge: 58 years of experience in financial services, specifically within asset wealth management. 58 years of experience in the investment marketing arena. Strong knowledge of the investment and wealth management industry in South African and international markets. In-depth legal knowledge of product wrappers, FAIS, exchange control, and financial instruments.
