Web Designer / UXUI Specialist Design intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that balance aesthetics, usability, and performance for international brands. Cape Town, Web Development and Digital Marketing, R18 000- 23 000 About Our Client The client is a South African-based company delivering full-spectrum web development and digital marketing services to clients in France and worldwide. They support over 30 international brands across sectors, including international removals, relocation, records management, and heritage preservation. The web team works within a young, collaborative, and dynamic environment alongside graphic designers, developers, SEO specialists, and communications experts. The Role: Web Designer / UXUI Specialist The purpose of this role is to lead UX/UI design for new and existing websites from discovery to delivery, translating user needs and business goals into effective interfaces. The role exists to design and revamp websites with a focus on usability, accessibility, and conversion-driven performance. It contributes to the business by collaborating with technical and marketing teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented and aligned with SEO principles. Key Responsibilities Lead UX/UI design for websites from discovery to delivery, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience. Create wireframes, user flows, and UI designs that are intuitive, accessible, and conversion-driven. Design and revamp WordPress and HTML websites with a focus on usability and user experience. Collaborate with developers to ensure UX/UI designs are accurately implemented. Apply UX best practices, data insights, and SEO principles to improve user journeys. Design supporting digital assets including mailers, newsflashes, and campaign visuals. Create GIF and HTML5 banners for digital advertising campaigns. Update and manage website content while maintaining design and UX consistency. About You Minimum 2 years experience in a UX/UI or web design role. Strong understanding of UX principles including user journeys, information architecture, and usability. Proven experience designing user-centered interfaces for websites. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Working knowledge of PHP. Solid WordPress experience including theme customization and plugin integration. Strong command of Photoshop and Illustrator. Understanding of SEO principles and how UX/UI impacts performance. Experience with Figma, Sketch, or XD is a plus.
