About the Role
As a key member of our dispatch team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient dispatch of high-quality products that meet customer expectations. Your primary responsibility will be to execute workflow schedules and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate dispatch assistants to ensure accurate loading of orders.
- Raise discrepancies on platforms provided and inform dispatch coordinator, ensuring timely dispatch of orders.
- Organize and prioritize orders according to plans provided by the Distribution Department, evaluating correctness and quality of orders.
- Check that all orders are loaded as per route requirements, raising discrepancies if necessary.
- Ensure documentation details match actual order details and stock is in good quality.
- Provide support to the distribution department, assisting with parking trucks and moving them into loading bays as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to dispatch standards and company procedures.
