Responsibilities
Content development and delivery:
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and interpret information requirements
- Finalising commentary with internal stakeholders and data checking
Interpersonal & development:
- Knowledge sharing – share and transfer product, process, and systems knowledge to colleagues
- Share success stories, trends, and ideas
- Bring any issues to the attention of the Head of Distribution Services and resolve these
- Collaborate and work with teams to deliver required service in excellence
- Ensure your performance and growth objectives are achieved by developing your Fairtree Individual
- Growth Journey to facilitate personal and professional growth
Requirements
- Appropriate finance qualification, eg. CA(SA), Bcom Investment Management, CFA
- BEng or LLB qualification also considered
- 2 3 years working in financial markets within the fund management industry.
- 4 – 5 years work experience
- Financial modelling (in Excel)
- PowerPoint proficient
Skills and attributes required to succeed in your role
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical reasoning and attention to detail
- Being process driven, good at problem-solving and innovative
- Being a team player and a good communicator with a belief in strong, open and honest relationships with internal and external stakeholders (incl. service providers)
- Self-starter with a proactive can-do attitude
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with automation tools will be advantageous
