About the Role
A leading luxury hotel in Cape Town is seeking a detail-driven Cost Controller to oversee and optimise all food, beverage, and operational costs. This role plays a key part in driving profitability through strong financial control, stock management, and supplier oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage F&B cost control, menu costing, and stock management
- Verify invoices, monitor pricing, and ensure procurement compliance
- Conduct stock counts, investigate variances, and produce reports
- Reconcile transactions (Micros, Opera, Pastel) and analyse cost percentages
- Support department heads with financial insights and budgeting
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a 4/5 hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of F&B operations and cost control
- Experience with Micros essential
- Highly analytical, accurate, and able to work under pressure
- Strong admin and reporting skills (MS Office)
- Hospitality qualification advantageous
