Financial Controller Luxury Boutique Hotel Cape Town
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller for a luxury boutique hotel based in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a financially astute professional to join a high-end hospitality environment and take full responsibility for the propertys financial management and reporting functions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring sound financial control, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support the ongoing success of the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure accurate and timeous reporting
Manage cash flow, cost control and expense management
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations and internal policies
Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures
Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process
Provide financial insight and support to the General Manager and senior leadership team
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior financial role within the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of financial management principles and accounting standards
Experience working within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment
Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organisational and leadership abilities
Relevant financial qualification
Salary: Negotiable DOE
