About the Role
A Top Tertiary Institution is seeking a Higher Education Sales Consultant to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building relationships with students and schools, and promoting graduate and postgraduate studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieves sales targets set for qualifications and / or short learning programs
- Plans and schedules visits to allocated / agreed schools
- Visits and delivers presentations to schools as per the minimum requirements
- Initiates appropriate sales drives and promotional activities on and off campus to convert enquiries into enrolments and thus meet student intake targets, annually
- Participates in campus promotional activities to promote graduate and postgraduate studies to existing students including career fairs, open days etc.
- Daily participation and service delivery that ultimately aims to lead to converted student acquisition
- Creation of Student File containing the correct collation and generation of the respective documents required per student file and ensuring the follow up of outstanding documentation of the student
- Builds and manages relationships with students, prospective students and their parents at all relevant touchpoints during the application and / or enquiry process to the standards agreed
- Attends to queries from students / parents either face-to-face, telephonically or on line, ensuring that prospective students have a positive service experience
- Receives, evaluates and processes applications from prospective students
- Establishes and fosters productive relationships with teachers, principals and other relevant partners
- Ensures registration procedures are followed
- Conducts interviews with prospective students and provides feedback of those interviews
- Keeps records of student interaction and engagement and tracking telephone conversations and ensuring CRM tracking
Requirements
- At least 2 years account management/customer relationship experience
- Education sales experience an advantage
- Between the ages of 23 – 35
- Bilingual – must be able to speak Afrikaans and English fluently (this is not negotiable)
- Valid drivers license and own transport is essential
- Must be able to travel locally
- Higher education experience will be advantageous
- A passionate, self-motivated enterprising person who is target-driven
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Flexible as per the requirements of the job (weekends, evenings)
- Ability to work independently and meet targets

Salary & Benefits
R22 000 to R25 000 per month, plus a commission structure.
