About the Role

Hire Resolve, a reputable Recruitment firm, is currently looking for an experienced Imports Controller for a logistics and supply chain company. As an Imports Controller, you will play a key role in managing the imports process for clients. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage all import activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
Prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import operations.
Monitor shipment status and track delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of goods.
Resolve any issues or delays related to import shipments.
Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and related documentation.
Ensure proper classification and valuation of imported goods in accordance with customs regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of import policies and procedures.
Provide support and guidance to internal teams on import-related matters.

Requirements

Relevant degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Imports Controller or similar role.
