Hire Resolve is partnering with a reputable Engineering Consulting firm, that is looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Cape Town!     

Key requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering degree (B.Eng/BSc)
• 1-2 years minimum experience
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages. (Excel/Word/MS Project)

Key responsibilities:

• Perform engineering calculations to support design work
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
• Perform general mechanical design work
• Perform pressure Vessel code calculations and do designs in collaboration with a client
• Liaise with clients in a professional manner
• Compilation of documentation for tenders and technical submissions
• Handling equipment procurement, assembly, configuration, installation, and commissioning activities associated with water treatment projects
• Performance testing and reporting
