Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging professional who is eager to develop their project management skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with senior project managers and team members to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring that projects remain on track.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Prepare project documentation, including reports, schedules, and progress updates.
- Assist in the identification and mitigation of project risks.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and address any issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Some relevant experience, such as internships or assistant roles.
- Basic knowledge of project management methods and tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail in managing documents and budgets.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
