About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client, a prominent company in the seafood industry renowned for their commitment to sustainable practices and high-quality products, is currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide accurate and timely accounting, analysis, budgeting, and forecast information to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Completing general ledger provision reconciliations on time and clearing reconciling items promptly.
Preparing and ensuring accuracy of monthly accrual journals and other financial entries.
Compiling and distributing monthly cost center expense reports with insightful commentary.
Preparing consolidated fixed and variable operating expense reports for monthly and board packs.
Preparing Factory Shops income statements and monthly sales pack reports for various markets/divisions.
Reviewing and maintaining selling expense cost rate tables to align with actual selling expenses.
Providing ad hoc financial reports and conducting analysis as required.
Liaising with management to ensure open communication and the accuracy of work.
Maintaining a comprehensive and organized filing system.

Requirements

A B.Com or relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
High proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with tools like QlikView/QlikSense/NAV.
A solid understanding of key business processes and practices.
