Job Summary
Cape Town – Western Cape – South Africa
- Assisting in the creation of technical designs using engineering tools like SolidWorks.
- Ensuring that designs meet client needs and are innovative and efficient.
- Working on preparing project quotations, ensuring they align with both the costs and specifications outlined by clients.
- This likely includes working closely with the management team to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Supporting the setup and execution of projects.
- Coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams for on-site installations and execution.
- Hands-on involvement may include providing practical support for equipment installations, troubleshooting, etc.
- Helping to track project timelines, ensuring milestones are met, and assisting with the coordination of resources.
- Acting as a communication hub between clients, suppliers, and internal teams to make sure everyone is aligned.
- Traveling to client sites to oversee installations and support on-site activities.
- Gaining real-world insights into manufacturing processes, helping ensure smooth execution of solutions.
- A degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Process Engineering, or a related field would be beneficial
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn SolidWorks, and knowledge in areas like fluid dynamics and process engineering.
- Willingness to travel to client sites for project oversight and implementation support.
- A valid drivers license, which will be necessary for site visits.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders (clients, suppliers, and internal teams).
