Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of electrical projects from mobilisation through to final
handover - Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and close-out
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and technical resources to ensure
project milestones are achieved - Manage commercial electrical installations across sectors such as commercial buildings,
hospitals, shopping centres, fuel sites, and related infrastructure - Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and contractual obligations
- Lead project reporting, progress meetings, and stakeholder communication
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, company standards, and project
specifications - Drive quality assurance, commissioning, snag resolution, and final client handover
- Identify project risks, delays, and operational challenges, implementing corrective actions
where required - Support procurement coordination and material planning to avoid site delays
- Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout delivery
Requirements
- Recognised tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 810 years experience within the electrical industry
- At least 45 years experience in a Project Manager / Site Manager / Contracts Manager
capacity - Strong experience within commercial electrical installations
- Exposure to projects within buildings, healthcare, retail/shopping centre, and fuel
environments - Proven project management experience, including claims formulation and negotiation
- Trade Test Electrician advantageous
- Valid drivers licence
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving capability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment
- Willingness to travel and work away from home where project requirements demand
