About the Role
Hire Resolve’s Client in the Built Construction industry are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QS Project Management professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quantity surveying and project management on various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and evaluate cost estimates for construction projects
- Manage project budgets, costs, and financial reporting
- Conduct cost analysis and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
- Produce and maintain project schedules and timelines
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bill of Quantities
- Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and claims
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
- Manage and mentor junior members of the quantity surveying team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and project management
- Professional certification such as RICS or equivalent is preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, methods, and materials
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using construction estimating software and project management tools
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
