About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Banqueting Coordinator to join our 5* property in City Bowl, Cape Town. As a key member of our events team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional banqueting experiences for our discerning clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of banqueting events, including catering, décor, and logistics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and grow the events portfolio
  • Ensure seamless execution of events, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including event budgets and inventory management

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven experience in a reservations environment
  • Strong numeracy, verbal, and written English skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
