About the Role
We are assisting a luxury hospitality group to recruit an experienced Financial Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and management to two exclusive properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with group standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage property-level financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, and variance analysis
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions and drive strategic growth
- Collaborate closely with department heads and support-office teams to ensure seamless financial operations
- Develop and implement internal controls to maintain financial accuracy and compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance, including at least 2 years in a hospitality environment
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of financial operations
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills
- Experience with Sage software (Intacct advantageous)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
