Job Description

is assisting a farm-to-table eatery in Cape Town in the search for an experienced and highly driven . This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who thrives on delivering impeccable service and leading a small team to maintain exceptional standards. The successful candidate will manage the service floor, drive staff performance, and ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, elevated farm-to-table dining experience. We are looking for a confident leader who is firm but fair, can enforce discipline when necessary, and continuously trains and develops the FOH team to uphold the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and professional service Lead, motivate, and develop FOH staff to achieve excellence at all times Conduct continuous training programs to elevate service standards Maintain composure and provide strong leadership throughout service Ensure excellent coordination with the kitchen and management teams for seamless service Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally Enforce discipline, punctuality, and performance expectations among FOH staff Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in a FOH management role Proven experience managing a high-standard service operation Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm, decisive, and authoritative Strong understanding of service excellence and guest experience in a premium, farm-to-table setting Experience in staff training, development, and performance management Contactable references Must already reside in Cape Town or surroundings – Open to Southern Africa candidates ➡️PLEASE NOTE – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
