About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Public Relations Officer to join our team in the Cape Town region. As a key member of our public relations department, you will be responsible for managing the external communications and reputation of our law firm clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in public relations and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to enhance the reputation of our law firm clients
- Manage media relationships and secure coverage in local and national publications
- Coordinate events, press releases, and other communications initiatives to promote our clients’ interests
- Provide expert advice on crisis communications and reputation management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of public relations efforts
Requirements
- Matric is essential
- Tertiary qualification beneficial
- At least 3 years’ experience as a PRO at a Law Firm
- Own car and valid driver’s license
- Professional and client-centric approach
