About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management and key account management, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong client relationships
- Demonstrate extensive product knowledge and accurately assess business needs through analytical skills
- Increase distribution of brand portfolio to drive incremental volume and brand portfolio availability
- Utilize strong sales abilities to meet and exceed defined marketing objectives
- Proactively manage customer satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential issues and monitoring satisfaction
- Manage projects and processes effectively
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree/diploma in a relevant field (hospitality, food & beverage) preferred
- At least 3-5 years proven working experience in sales management/key account management role
- Calm, level-headed, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently and accurately
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and anticipate needs
