About the Role
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic sales team in Cape Town, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving parts sales growth. As a Parts Sales Executive with Kia South Africa (Pty) Ltd, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless counter and telesales transactions, while building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct all transactions with customers with the utmost courtesy.
- Correctly place items in stores to ensure accurate stock management.
- Implement discount structures as applicable and assist customers with parts identification.
- Assist new parts persons during training and provide guidance on sales procedures.
- Ensure accurate recording of paperwork, documentation, and requisitions within the stock control system.
- Maintain updated parts catalogues, manufacturer lists, and other relevant materials.
- Notify Warehouse Manager of any discrepancies noted when inspecting incoming goods.
- Foster good relationships with customers and their representatives through effective communication.
Requirements
- Matric (or equivalent) with Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates.
- 3-5 years’ experience as a parts sales executive, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Innovative and forward-thinking approach to sales and customer service.
