About the Role

The Transfer Secretary role in our Cape Town office requires a highly experienced professional with strong administrative and organisational skills to provide exceptional support to our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage mortgage bond registrations and cancellations
  • Liaise with major banks on transfer-related matters
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 35 years experience as a Transfer Secretary
  • Strong exposure to mortgage bonds (registrations and cancellations)
  • Experience dealing with major banks
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transfers in the Cape Town region, ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory requirements. As a Transfer Secretary, you will provide administrative support to Body Corporates and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage property transfers from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
  • Administer Body Corporate levies, accounts, and related correspondence
  • Liaise professionally with attorneys, clients, and municipal offices
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transfers and Body Corporate matters

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Transfer Secretary
  • Exposure to Body Corporate administration (ideally)
