About the Role
The Unspecified Employer is seeking a Trainee Manager in Retail/FMCG for their Free State operations. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills and experience in retail management, with a focus on organisational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day store operations
- Supervise staff across various departments (receiving, cash office, administration, sales floor)
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth
- Analyse sales data and reports to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with senior management to achieve company goals
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Relevant Retail/FMCG qualification (advantageous)
- At least 5 years experience in Retail/FMCG across departments
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of retail operations and reporting
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); SAP/Unisolv experience an advantage
