About the Role
This is not a desk job. This is boots-on-the-ground, sleeves-rolled-up, make-things-happen work. We’re looking for a Sales Activator who thrives in fast lanes, loves the buzz of the trade, and knows that visibility drives velocity. Key Responsibilities
- Own and activate your territory with purpose.
- Drive volume, distribution, and availability across on-premise and off-premise outlets.
- Ensure the brand shows up strong, bold, and unmistakable.
- Execute promotional plans, secure premium placements, implement POS, and make sure every outlet looks the way it should every time.
- Build long-term partnerships with outlet owners, managers, and staff through regular visits, strong communication, and commercial credibility.
- Achieve (and stretch beyond) volume targets, distribution goals, and KPIs. Track performance, analyse results, and course-correct quickly.
- Provide accurate, timely market feedback. Capture data, report on trends, identify opportunities, and flag risks.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure flawless activation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, field sales, or trade activation (FMCG exposure is a strong advantage)
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- High energy, resilience, and self-discipline
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
- Comfort working independently in a fast-moving environment
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively
- Confidence using sales systems, reporting tools, and digital platforms
