Sales Representative

URGENT VACANCY
Job Summary
A well-established industrial and engineering services company is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to support and grow its customer base within the manufacturing and production sectors. The role requires a strong technical foundation, the ability to understand engineering requirements, and a customer-focused approach to delivering effective solutions. The successful candidate will act as a key link between customers, production, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Provide technical sales support to clients within the steel, engineering, manufacturing, and printing industries
- Interpret and understand technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
- Prepare quotations and follow up on orders to ensure successful conversion
- Liaise closely with production, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure accurate order execution
- Deliver a high level of customer service and after-sales support
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales growth
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation
Skills & Requirements
- Proven technical sales experience within an industrial environment
- Background or exposure to the steel industry (essential)
- Experience within the printing industry (advantageous)
- Engineering or manufacturing background
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
