About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Brand Manager to drive brand positioning, marketing strategy, and stakeholder engagement within the South African region for a global leader in construction and heavy machinery manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior management in developing and implementing the annual brand strategy for South Africa, aligned with product launches and regional sales targets.
  • Plan and execute brand promotion campaigns, including marketing initiatives and product launch activities.
  • Collaborate with local distributors and dealers to adapt marketing materials (brochures, videos, campaigns) for the South African market.
  • Build relationships with industry associations and relevant government bodies to strengthen brand credibility and presence.
  • Develop and maintain a regional brand evaluation system, ensuring brand promotion plans are effectively implemented.
  • Establish brand evaluation models for distributors and support subsidiaries in assessing brand alignment.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of brand communication materials, including advertising collateral and promotional content.
  • Lead brand marketing activities at trade shows, exhibitions, and product launches, ensuring compliance with global brand guidelines.
  • Deliver brand training programs and develop training materials for regional staff.
  • Coordinate with international headquarters regarding branding, design, and promotional requirements.
  • Manage the daily operations and development of the regional brand team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in brand management, marketing, or communications, preferably within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
  • Experience working with dealers, distributors, or international brands.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Ability to manage marketing campaigns, trade shows, and product launches.
  • Leadership capability with experience managing teams or projects.
