Job Description
We are seeking a senior-level SAP FICO Functional Consultant to lead and support enhancements on our existing SAP ECC 6.0 platform. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on optimizing financial processes, configuring new functionalities, and improving reporting capabilities within the FI/CO modules. Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with Finance and Controlling stakeholders to understand business challenges, gather requirements, and design enhancements.
- Functional Specification (FS): Translate business requirements into detailed Functional Specifications for custom ABAP development (RICEFW – Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow).
- System Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration changes within SAP ECC 6.0 in FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (CCA, PCA, IO, Product Costing) to support new business processes.
- Testing & Validation: Develop test scenarios, conduct Unit Testing (UT), Integration Testing (IT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Enhancement Implementation: Implement and optimize existing business processes, including electronic bank statement (EBS) setup, tax configuration, and newGL enhancements.
- Integration Support: Coordinate with functional leads in SD, MM, and PP modules to ensure seamless integration and data flow to Finance.
- Documentation & Training: Prepare configuration documents, functional specifications, and user training manuals.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for production issues related to enhancements. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11]
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 710+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience, with at least 3+ years in ECC 6.0 enhancement/support projects.
- Core Modules: Strong, hands-on configuration experience in General Ledger (New GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling.
