About the Role
Our automotive client is urgently looking for a Branch Manager in Parklands and Goodwood to oversee outlet operations, improve efficiencies, and achieve peak performance levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing personnel, financial management, stock levels, and cost control, while ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise outlet personnel and ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Improve efficiencies and streamline outlet activities
- Manage team on best practices and establish standard policies and procedures
- Implement continuous improvement and modern marketing/selling principles
- Highlight deficiencies and recommend/implement changes in training, working practices, and processes
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
- Develop an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible team
Requirements
- Matric Certificate (with maths literacy minimum)
- Additional related courses/qualifications an advantage
- At least 8-10 years experience in a similar management role within the motor industry
- Sound technical knowledge and understanding
- Experience in motor part sales
- Experience of managing Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and associated financial responsibilities
- Understanding of procurement
- Understanding of ISO 9001/45001 or relevant quality management system
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with stock management
- Sales and customer interaction experience
