The Opportunity

They are seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong experience in software engineering environments to lead the successful delivery of complex, custom development projects.

This is a client-facing consulting role where you will act as the bridge between distributed engineering teams and external stakeholders driving delivery, managing risk, ensuring financial control, and building trusted client relationships.

You will manage multiple concurrent projects (typically 23), mentor team members, and play a key role in shaping delivery excellence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities Project Leadership

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent custom software projects

• Apply and adapt Agile methodologies to fit project and client needs

• Identify and mitigate risks, remove blockers, and manage change control

• Ensure delivery meets quality, timeline, and budget expectations

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients from project inception

• Align delivery outcomes to business objectives

• Communicate clearly on progress, risks, and milestones

• Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams and customers

Team & Delivery Management

• Lead and motivate distributed teams across time zones

• Mentor team members and support professional growth

• Manage team capacity across support, maintenance, and new initiatives

• Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture

Business & Financial Oversight

• Manage project budgets and financial tracking

• Define and measure success metrics and ROI

• Contribute to account growth through strong delivery and relationship management

Requirements Experience

• 7+ years project management experience in software development environments

• Proven success managing multiple concurrent projects

• Strong Agile knowledge (Scrum certification advantageous)

• Experience managing distributed or global teams

• Budget and financial management experience
