About the Role
Hire Resolve, a leading company in the industry, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join their team in Cape Town. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our products to surgeons and healthcare professionals, identifying new customers, and building existing relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Identify target surgeons and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Work closely with regional and national sales teams to ensure seamless collaboration
- Perform callback customer calls to identify sales opportunities and provide excellent customer service
- Develop responses to new prospect queries and develop appropriate sales approaches
- Assist in theatre as needed by healthcare professionals
- Create proposal presentations and quotes for customers
- Schedule appointments, perform field calls, and schedule meetings with potential customers
- Implement new sales plans and marketing strategies to position the organization competitively
- Meet and exceed business sales targets (quotas)
- Provide forecasts and market research information to divisional management as needed
- Acquire a basic understanding of regulatory compliance issues
Requirements
- BSc/BA qualification in relevant field preferred or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in Trauma/Ontopaedic or Medical/Biokinetics/Pharmaceuticals industry
- Proven sales record
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with ortho surgeons and hospitals (advantageous)
- Must be comfortable working in emergency/operating room environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Willingness to work on-call hours during weekends, public holidays, and outside normal working hours
