Job Description

Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking to hire a Trauma Sales Representative to join their team. The Trauma Sales Representative will be responsible for selling medical devices and products related to trauma care, particularly those used in the treatment of bone fractures, injuries, and related surgical procedures. Their role focuses on promoting and supporting products like orthopedic implants, surgical instruments, and fixation devices used in trauma care settings.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and sell trauma-related medical products to hospitals, orthopedic surgeons, and healthcare professionals.
Provide product information, training, and technical support to clients to ensure proper use of products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including surgeons, hospitals, and clinics.
Assist surgeons during procedures, offering product recommendations and support.
Track sales performance, manage inventory, and report progress to management.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
Lead product demonstrations and educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with other sales teams and departments to share insights and improve strategies.

Requirements

BSc/BA qualification, preferably in a related field (e.g., Biomedical, Health Sciences, or Business).
3+ years of experience in medical sales, specifically within trauma, orthopedic, or medical device sales.
Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Understanding of trauma-related medical products and orthopedic devices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to educate healthcare professionals on product usage.
Must be based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate.
Ability to work independently, manage sales territories, and meet sales targets.

Job Description

Hire Resolves client is looking for a Sales Representative who be primarily responsible for preparing for all aspects of the sales accountability representing the Company as a leader in the industry and the marketplace by promoting the products to the target market comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.

This will be achieved by meeting sales targets and increasing sales through assisting existing customers and building new accounts as well as identify new customers in order to grow their territory.

????????????????:

Identifies target surgeons, plans and implements appropriate strategy for the territory to achieve sales targets.
Works in conjunction with sales teams (both regional and national).
Callback customers as required to identify sales opportunities and customer service activities.
Identifies the needs of new prospects and develop the appropriate responses to queries.
Assists in theatre as and when required by healthcare professionals.
Assists in developing responses to requests for Quotes and in creating proposal presentations.
Schedules appointments to present company product offerings & performs field calls for the account and assigned territory.
Implements new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively.
Meets and exceeds business sales targets (quotas).
Provides forecasts and market research information to divisional management as and when required.
Acquires a basic understanding of the field to include regulatory compliance issues.
Assists in the resolution of any problems that arise on the account.
Remains current and up to date on industry, customer, and competitive trends.

Minimum 3 years experience in the Trauma/Orthopaedic or Medical/Biokinetics/Pharmaceuticals and other relevant experience will be considered.
Proven Sales record.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with ortho surgeons & hospitals in respective areas would be advantageous.
Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
Valid drivers license and own reliable transportation is essential.
Willingness to work on call hours during weekends, public holidays and outside normal working hours.
