Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell trauma-related medical products to hospitals, orthopedic surgeons, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide product information, training, and technical support to clients to ensure proper use of products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including surgeons, hospitals, and clinics.
- Assist surgeons during procedures, offering product recommendations and support.
- Track sales performance, manage inventory, and report progress to management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Lead product demonstrations and educational sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other sales teams and departments to share insights and improve strategies.
Requirements
- BSc/BA qualification, preferably in a related field (e.g., Biomedical, Health Sciences, or Business).
- 3+ years of experience in medical sales, specifically within trauma, orthopedic, or medical device sales.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Understanding of trauma-related medical products and orthopedic devices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to educate healthcare professionals on product usage.
- Must be based in Johannesburg or willing to relocate.
- Ability to work independently, manage sales territories, and meet sales targets.
