About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Non-Foods Controller to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our warehouse operates efficiently and effectively, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing to implementing production schedules and identifying warehouse system improvements.
  • Improves employee workflow, enforces and entrenches the warehouse performance standards and targets, and uses these for guiding and mentoring staff.
  • Directs, guides, and coordinates the warehouse processes.
  • Achieves efficiency by monitoring the application of work-specific guidelines and standard operating procedures and constantly works to improve warehouse processes.
  • Effectively contributes to the control of stock movement and stock management to reduce stock damage costs and optimise customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Skills in inventory control management processes
  • Experience with stock control (minimum 2 years)
  • Supervisory experience (at least a team of 4/5)
  • Familiarity with warehouse systems and technology
  • Valid Forklift licence

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • 1 year preferable, 2 years of formal certificate/diploma level warehousing/wholesale studies would be a significant advantage
  • 3 to 5 years experience in warehouse experience
