Job Description

The Cleaning & Maintenance department requires committed, hardworking and reliable individuals to join their team. This role assists to ensure that equipment, facilities, and work areas remain safe, clean, and operational. Suitable candidates must be practical, safety-focused, and capable of working in physically demanding conditions.

  • General cleaning & maintenance duties
  • Cleaning and upkeep of heavy-duty machinery, equipment and vehicles
  • Cleaning oil spills and other process waste or debris
  • Assistance in the wash bay as and when required
  • Clean, maintain and prepare work areas for effective operations or start up
  • Able to do to minor/ basic technical tasks

Qualifying Criteria:

  • Grade 12
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety rules
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Previous experience in the same or similar role advantageous
  • Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations
  • Drivers license advantageous

  • Hard-working and self-motivated
  • Prepared to work overtime and weekends when required
  • Physically fit (Strength to handle materials, tools and machines)
  • Sober habits
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently
  • Honest and reliable
  • Must be willing and eager to learn
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a demanding workload in a pressurised environment
  • Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
  • Physically mobile and energetic
  • Ability to follow rules
  • Be organised and keep their work area neat and tidy
