About the Role
A leading manufacturing company within the FMCG sector is seeking a Mould Setter to join their company. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual with mould setting experience who is looking to grow within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and manage all mould changes across production lines
- Set machines in line with best practice and production requirements
- Conduct mould and material trials as required
- Identify and report machine and mould maintenance needs
- Support maintenance teams to ensure optimal machine performance
- Ensure moulds and machinery are properly maintained, serviced, and stored
- Maintain high product quality standards at all times
- Adhere to housekeeping and safety standards within the plant
- Assist with additional duties as required by the Production Team Leader
Requirements
- N2 N3 in Mechanical or Electrical (essential)
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Setter within FMCG or manufacturing
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Exposure to a tool room / toolmaking environment (essential)
- Experience working in a high-speed production environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Willingness to work overtime when required
