About the Role
The CNC Operator role is a critical position in our manufacturing facility, responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating CNC machines, a strong understanding of Fanuc control systems, and excellent technical drawing interpretation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines using Fanuc control systems
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine programming adjustments
- Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Maintain machines and ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards
- Troubleshoot minor machining or programming issues

- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience operating CNC machines
- Proven experience working with Fanuc systems
- Strong background in milling and/or turning environments
