About the Role

As a Centurion: Assistant Fast Food Manager at Net. Talent, you will play a vital role in managing our restaurant to maximize sales and profitability while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for leading our team, implementing effective labor deployment strategies, and maintaining adherence to our policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the restaurant according to Restaurants Policies and Procedures
  • Maximize restaurant sales and profitability by effective deployment of labor, assets, and production costs
  • Maintain excellence in the execution of all duties
  • Focus on exceeding customer expectations
  • Develop and train staff, provide negative and positive reinforcement, and recognize superior performance
  • Monitor food, packaging, and labor costs to ensure alignment with established targets
  • Ensure correct levels of restaurant resources (labour, products, supplies, tills, equipment) to meet business volumes
  • Adhere to cash handling and in-restaurant banking procedures at all times
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks to monitor supplies and investigate discrepancies
  • Prepare weekly labor schedules in advance and ensure proper staffing and alignment with budget
  • Ensure staff recruitment does not conflict with the company’s non-discriminatory policy
  • Provide comprehensive induction and training for new staff members
  • Develop staff and implement succession planning to ensure full management of the restaurant
  • Follow Policies and Procedures to minimize employee relations issues
  • Coordinate payroll changes, action recruitment and termination documentation, and forward updates to HR Department
  • Hold and record monthly staff meetings to discuss various issues affecting the restaurant/team
  • Ensure all staff are fully trained in fire procedures, health, safety, and food hygiene practices as well as security and robbery procedures
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly administration accurately in line with procedures
  • Maintain accurate operating reports
  • Follow HACCP standards and statutory regulations for Safety, Health, and Hygiene

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF 4
  • 3 years Fast Food/Restaurant Manager experience preferably KFC or Pizza Hut
  • Creditworthiness (ITC check) and no criminal record
  • Micros /GAAP POS 3 years experience
