Hillpet Construction Management is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Candidate Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years working experience as a Quantity Surveyor and be in good standing with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) as a Candidate QS. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in delivering projects to the highest standard, managing costs, and collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with cost planning, estimating, and feasibility studies for projects.Measure, value, and prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) in accordance with standard methods of measurement.Assist in the preparation and submission of interim payment certificates and final accounts.Support cash flow forecasting and cost reporting for ongoing projects.Conduct site measurements and verify subcontractor works.Assist with procurement processes, tender evaluations, and appointment of subcontractors.Monitor budgets and highlight potential cost variances to the project manager.Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant industry standards.Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Projects
