About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at our established Golf Club/Restaurant in Centurion. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and ensuring the smooth operation of our busy kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Food preparation
- Stock control
- Setting up food stations
- Food quality control
- Coordinating with the Head Chef to manage kitchen operations
- Leading other cooks in a team environment
- Assisting with events and functions, including catering for various types of food delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in chef and kitchen management roles
- Strong background in a la carte restaurant environments
- Ability to effectively coordinate and manage a busy kitchen operation
- Experience leading other cooks in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
