Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment failures.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery during upgrades or relocations.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed.
Requirements:
- Certified Millwright (Red Seal or equivalent qualification preferred).
- Fluent in Afrikaans (essential for effective communication).
- Proven experience in industrial machinery repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands or already based there.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, processing, or heavy industrial environments.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
