About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to join their team in Rivonia, Johannesburg on a remote or hybrid position. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial system support and ensuring seamless integration with business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial processes.
Configure and support Oracle Financials modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure system integrations, customizations, and reports are aligned with business needs.
Participate in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
Assist with period-end and year-end close processes in Oracle Financials.
Keep up with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and advise on new features.
Ensure financial system compliance with local accounting standards and corporate policies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials Cloud or Oracle EBS R12.
Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and controls.
Experience in requirement gathering, functional design, testing, and production support.
