About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Centurion: Project Planner â Engineering Projects to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules in line with approved work breakdown structures (WBS) in MS Project, aligned with project scope and engineering deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in line with approved work breakdown structures (WBS) in MS Project, aligned with project scope and engineering deliverables
- Update and maintain project schedules with actual progress data and forecasting dates received from engineering, expeditor, procurement, OEM’s and fabricators
- Assist with resource loading, man-hour forecasting, and progress measurement
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Perform critical path and float analysis to support decision-making
- Track engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site activities against the baseline programme
- Prepare progress reports, schedule updates, and look-ahead plans for management and clients
- Support cost and resource planning in collaboration with project controls and management teams
- Assist with change management, including schedule impact assessments
- Ensure planning aligns with contractual milestones and reporting requirements
- Participate in project review meetings and planning workshops
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Planner with demonstrated proficiency in MS Project
- At least five years of proven experience within an EPC environment, supported by a strong technical background
- Strong understanding of engineering project life cycles and execution methodologies
