About the Role
The Channel Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key distributors, resellers, and partners in the Midrand area. This role requires a strong understanding of distribution models and partner ecosystems, as well as excellent commercial negotiation skills to drive revenue growth through sell-in and sell-through strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow distributor, reseller, and partner relationships
- Drive revenue through sell-in and sell-through strategies
- Lead commercial negotiations (pricing, margins, rebates, incentives)
- Develop and execute channel strategies aligned to business goals
- Monitor partner performance, stock, and sales trends
- Forecast demand and align stock with channel needs
- Mitigate risks (overstocking, slow-moving inventory)
- Support partner sales teams to drive adoption
- Ensure consistent execution across the channel
Requirements
- 3+ years proven experience in channel sales / key account management (distribution/s reseller environment)
- Strong understanding of distribution models and partner ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to manage pricing, margins, and commercial agreements
- Experience driving sell-through performance (not just sell-in)
- Strong analytical capability (Excel/data-driven decision making)
- Experience within consumer electronics, ICT, or networking sectors
