Duties:
- Business development: Identify and grow a portfolio of client companies through networking, cold calling, and relationship management
- Source, screen, and place Finance and IT candidates
- Headhunt passive candidates via LinkedIn, candidate databases, and direct outreach
- Manage the full recruitment process: job briefing, advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer negotiation
- Work towards and exceed monthly targets related to placements, billings, and new business development
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric is essential
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Recruitment or sales training/certification is advantageous
Experience:
- Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or a client-facing commercial role
- Experience working with targets and KPIs in a performance-driven environment
- Experience using LinkedIn, job boards (Pnet, Indeed), and candidate databases for sourcing
- Exposure to Finance or IT industries is highly advantageous
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong sales ability with a competitive, results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident engaging at all levels
- Resilient and positive, able to handle rejection and bounce back quickly
- Well-organised, process-driven, and able to manage multiple placements simultaneously
