About the Role
Cradock, a picturesque town in South Africa’s heartland, is seeking a Junior Hospitality Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality department, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth through effective management and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the lodge, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and increase occupancy rates.
- Collaborate with the team to create engaging content for social media, blog, and website.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the lodge.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, including cooking and baking.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in hospitality/tourism/lodge management
- Previous experience in lodge or hotel management role
- Strong administrative background
- Ability to work in a team essential
- Previous experience with content creation of blog, social media, and website advantageous
- Experience with cooking and baking and a high level of comfort in the kitchen
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license
