Job Description
Combined Private Investigations is looking for an experienced K9 Coordinator to lead and manage a specialised K9 unit in Delmas. This role focuses on overseeing K9 handlers and working dogs, ensuring teams are trained to operational standards, and coordinating crime prevention, intelligence gathering, and investigation activities within the operational area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing K9 operations, supervising staff, conducting risk assessments, coordinating investigations, and maintaining compliance with relevant security and animal protection regulations.
Minimum requirements:
– Matric (Grade 12)
– PSIRA registration
– DH3 (minimum) – DH4/DH5 preferred
– Valid business firearm competency
– Minimum 2 years’ supervisory/managerial experience
– Minimum 2 years’ crime investigation experience
– Valid driver’s license
This is a contract position offering market-related remuneration.
