Job Description

Hire Resolve is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Resident Engineer with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering to join our team. As an Assistant Resident Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and providing technical expertise and support.

Responsibilties:

Assist in managing and overseeing geotechnical engineering projects
Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and safety standards in relation to geotechnical aspects
Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team for geotechnical issues
Review and approve geotechnical designs, reports, and recommendations
Conduct geotechnical investigations, analysis, and interpret geotechnical data
Monitor and control project budgets and schedules for geotechnical activities
Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors on geotechnical matters
Resolve geotechnical issues and conflicts that arise during construction

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles, practices, and design codes
Experience in SANRAL roads
Familiarity with geotechnical software and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
