About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join our team at HotelJobs in Durban. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere in our bar area.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws and responsible service of alcohol.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area and equipment.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management.
Requirements
Previous experience as a bartender/bar attendant in a hotel, restaurant, or bar.
Knowledge of cocktails, wines, and beverage service.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
A professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
