Dispatch / Receiving Clerk

Job Summary
- Receiving Shipments: Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition. Unload trucks and ensure items are stored correctly.
- Dispatching Orders: Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and on time. Coordinate with delivery personnel and ensure proper documentation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels. Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Documentation: Ensure all shipping and receiving documents are completed accurately and filed appropriately.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report any issues. Ensure that all products meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Communication: Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to resolve any issues related to shipments.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
Qualifications
- Must have Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF level 4 equivalent qualification.
- Must have clear criminal record.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in dispatching and receiving of stock
- Admin experience required
- Excel required
