Extrusion Manager
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning: Scheduling daily and weekly production runs to meet customer delivery goals and optimize output.
Team Leadership: Managing, training, and mentoring a team of extrusion operators, supervisors, and helpers.
Process Optimization: Monitoring machine performance to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize plant downtime.
Quality Control: Ensuring all finished products meet technical specifications and maintaining strict adherence to ISO or other industry standards.
Maintenance Oversight: Coordinating with maintenance teams for preventative upkeep and rapid breakdown resolution of extrusion machinery.
Budget & Resource Management: Controlling operational expenditure, managing raw material inventory, and providing quotes for new projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
5 years of experience in an extrusion environment
Grade 12
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management
