About the Role
The Ekurhuleni: Buyer / Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, managing procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Source suppliers
- Verify quotes & POs
- Maintain accurate records
- Manage supplier performance and documentation
- Maintain client relationships and resolve procurement queries efficiently
- Ensure compliance with QMS & safety procedures
Requirements
- Tertiary education in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
- 5 years in sourcing & procurement experience
- 23 years of expediting/logistics experience (advantageous)
- SAP proficiency
- Strong negotiation skills
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- French language proficiency (an advantage)
Qualifications
- Formal education in Procurement, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
