About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial Manager to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the full finance function, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. They will provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making, while ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full finance function
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team
- Liaise with external auditors, bankers, and other financial stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (essential)
- Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA (preferred)
- 810 years proven experience in a financial management role
- Strong knowledge of South African financial regulations and tax legislation
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA
